Get to Know Me

Hi! I’m Kaleigh—staff accountant, finance student, and mom of three. I live in the Chicago suburbs and spent several years as a full-time parent before diving back into school and restarting my career. That shift wasn’t easy, but it’s been so rewarding!

I’ve always had a thing for structure, problem-solving, patterns, and making sense of the details—so accounting just fits. These days, I spend a lot of time buried in spreadsheets, balancing reports, and learning how to turn numbers into smart decisions. I love being able to connect the dots and bring clarity where things might seem overwhelming.

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me with my family, chasing after kids, planning something creative, or just enjoying some quiet time (when that actually happens). This site is a collection of everything I’ve been learning and accomplishing so far—both in school and on the job.
